Architectural design:
"Volkovskaya" was named because of the nearby Volkovka River, as well as in honor of the historical area of Volkovo.
The station is decorated with two panels made in the Florentine mosaic technique (artist A.K. Bystrov): at the end of the central hall - with a view of the Volkovka River, and on the wall near the passage to the escalator - views of the Volkovo village.
